I was 11 years old when my father sent me downstream with a 9-foot, 6-weight bamboo fly rod. Attached to the end of the leader was a size 14 gray hackle yellow. I returned to camp a short time later with a 5-inch rainbow trout dangling from the end of the line. It was my first fish on a fly. I couldn't have been more proud. Little did I know at the time but I had just begun a life-long passion with fly fishing.

Now I bring that passion and enthusiasm with me every time I'm out on the water. From helping a first-timer catch their first fish to putting an experienced angler on the fish of a lifetime, every moment on the river is truly a blessing.

As your guide, it's encumbent upon me to ensure that you have a great day. As our day together progresses, we'll utilize various tactics and techniques to entice the fish to grab. I'll also be more than happy to pass along my many years of knowledge and experience to you, to help you become a more proficient angler. And should we encounter a "lull" in the action, I'll do my best to put a smile on your face through the use of some witty repartee or perhaps an interpretive dance.

So, pick up the phone and give me a call or send me an email, and let's schedule some time together on the water. Lest we forget, the worst day fishing is better than the best day working.
